Additional Services
Some services can be added to any project at your
request:
Feasibility Studies – deeper site
analysis or multiple layout options
Permitting / Bidding Support –
guidance through approvals and contractor
selection
During Construction Collaboration
– clarifying design intent, reviewing submittals,
or site visits
Optional services are billed separately and discussed
in advance.
Feasibility Studies
A feasibility study helps you understand the potential
of your property before committing to full design.
This may include multiple layout options, site
evaluation, or exploring design constraints and
opportunities. Feasibility studies are priced based on
the scope and complexity of your property and project.
Permitting & Bidding Support
Navigating city, HOA, or Architectural Review
Committee requirements can be time-consuming and
nuanced, especially in historic or Hill Country areas.
We can guide you through permitting, review
submissions, and provide support during contractor
bidding to ensure the project moves smoothly. Pricing
for these services is evaluated based on the level of
coordination required.
During Construction Collaboration
To protect the integrity of the design, optional
construction administration services are available.
This includes responding to builder questions,
reviewing submittals, clarifying design intent, and
making minor adjustments as conditions arise. These
services are offered on a project-specific basis, and
pricing is determined based on the anticipated level
of involvement.
Collaboration with Interior Designers
Your home’s design is most successful when
architecture and interiors work together seamlessly.
We actively collaborate with interior designers to
coordinate layouts, lighting, finishes, and built-in
features, ensuring that the final result feels
cohesive and intentional. Pricing for coordination is
evaluated based on the level of collaboration
required, keeping your project goals and budget in
mind.
Why Our Fees Are Structured This Way
Our goal is to give clients clarity and confidence while
keeping the process manageable for a small, single-member
firm. The hybrid approach ensures that:
Simple projects aren’t overcharged
Complex projects with ARC or historic considerations are
appropriately valued
Optional services, like construction collaboration, are
available without being automatically included
